Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding (born Elena Jane Goulding, 30 December 1986, in Hereford, England) is an English artist and singer. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding swiftly brought her to the top charts after she drew the attention of the public in 2010. She was able to accomplish this through the songs "Starry Eyed", and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding has an unique soprano scream and a knack for writing emotional songs with positive lyrics. Much like her predecessors Kate Bush or Imogen, she's at the forefront of modern mainstream pop and artistic independent music. In the end, she signed a major-label deal to Polydor Records and began making arrangements for her debut album.
