Sharp, who was born in Rochester, New York in 1962, studied clarinets as well as cellos and pianos at the Hochstein School of Music. The Boston Conservatory offered her grants for her theatre program at the school. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp determined to go into theatre after graduating Cum Laude with the B.F.A. Sharp performed in The Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Sharp made her debut Off Broadway in Michael Bradford's Living in the Wind. And she played eight roles in the interactive comedic Eat the Runt. Other stage shows include Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin', Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp performed alongside the playwright August Wilson himself. Sharp is a performer who has performed on screen as well as on stage is currently involved in a variety of unique projects. Sharp continues to perform and is in the process of putting together an album of full length. When she's not working the front or behind the camera, or working in a studio to record songs, Sharp has a love of fitness. She is always fitness classes and learning Krav Maga.. She likes piano as well, hiking and long journeys. Sharp has a home in Los Angeles.
