Lis Wiehl (born September 19, 1960) is an American author and an ex-legal analyst at Fox News.
She was an adjunct law professor in New York Law School and was previously an Associate Professor at the University of Washington Law School. She has offered legal commentary on National Public Radio program and the Bill O'Reilly radio show, The Radio Factor. She was a regular guest on The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today, The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly and Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl she was born and grew up in Yakima within Washington State, graduated in Yakima in the state of Washington from West Valley High School. She received a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature from the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as the Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl was a prosecutor in the past of the US Attorney. She served as a legal correspondent for the NPR program All Things Considered. She was the Chief Investigator's Counsel for the Democrats in the House Judiciary Committee in Clinton's impeachment. She was an associate professor of law with tenure on the University of Washington School of Law Seattle between 1995 and 2001. Wiehl is an analyst for Fox News analyst since 2001.
