Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. She studied at Arnold School in Blackpool. In her time as headgirl, she scored straight A marks in her A-Levels. In a discussion about her appearance on Emmerdale, Coleman admitted she was regretting having not gone to the university. When she was at school, Coleman was a member of a theater company named In Yer Space with whom she played at the Edinburgh Festival in the play Crystal Clear. It also received favorable reviews. Coleman was awarded the award with a prestigious award for her performance. When she was auditioning for drama schools, Coleman got the role in the role of Jasmine Thomas in Emmerdale in 2005. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two prizes. The award was for as the Best Newcomer of 2007 at British Soap Awards and Most Popular Newcomer at the National Television Awards. In 2009 she won nominations in two categories including Best Actress-Sexiest Female as well as Best Performance Dramatic. Coleman was awarded a Television Choice Award nomination for Best Actress. Steven Moffat, the producer of Doctor Who confirmed in a 21st March 2012 press conference that Coleman will portray Matt Smith's companion after Karen Gillan left. Moffat has decided to cast her in the role as she had the most chemistry Smith. Also, she spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Since 1987, she's participated in TV and film projects. Eva has been more prominent on TV than films. Eva's TV roles on The Dr. Maria Santos, in All My Children, and Detective Natalia Boa Vista in CSI Miami make an impact. It was the former that gave Eva two nominations for a Daytime Emmy. Additionally, she was able to showcase her creativity through music. Eva is a businesswoman, in addition to an actor. Eva is married three times with a daughter by her second husband.
