Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28, 1967. She comes from the fourth Roberts family to have lived in Atlanta. This began with her great grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was farmer. She inherited her father's interest in theatre from an early time. As an undergraduate at Emory University, he performed in a variety of productions in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he received his induction into the airforce in the year 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was in that production as well. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year 1957. Walter along with his wife quit the military in 1957 and enrolled Walter in Tulane University. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou began producing a children's TV show in Decatur, Georgia called Bum Bum and His Buddies. The production was funded by the couple themselves. In the following year, they established the Actors and Writers Workshop which operated for a period of six years. They had two more children: Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) and Julia Billingsley (1967) (also know by the same name Julie).
